TCOLE Certified Officer

This in a non-supervisory position, which involves independent judgement on law enforcement matters. This position requires deputies to protect life, property and to preserve the peace and to patrol areas within the jurisdiction of Burnet County Sheriff's Office. Other requirements are to respond to emergency calls, perform civil duties, enforce the Texas Penal Code, Traffic Code, apprehend wanted person, make arrests and make reports of incidents of reportable offences. Each Deputy is required to perform related duties to fulfill the responsibilities of the Burnet County Sheriff's Office as directed by the Sheriff or his designee.
