Work Schedule: Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to property damage emergencies, including water, fire, mold, and storm-related incidents. This role requires quick thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to restoring properties efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to emergency mitigation calls, including water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation.
  • Assess the extent of damage and develop an effective mitigation plan.
  • Operate drying equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and extraction tools.
  • Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials when necessary.
  • Conduct moisture readings and documentation for insurance claims.
  • Follow industry best practices and safety guidelines for restoration and mitigation.
  • Maintain and clean equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
  • IICRC certification (Water Restoration Technician, Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, or Mold Remediation) is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
