Family Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care in Los Angeles
Position Title: Family Nurse Practitioner Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Full-Time with Full Benefits and a 401(k) Salary: $75/hr, plus Overtime and Malpractice Coverage

Position Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.
Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time will be a minimum of 12 shifts per month, with one weekend a month (8 am to 9 pm).
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate
• One + year of relevant urgent care experience
