Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma, short-term acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome.

  • Interventional Radiology unit within a 244-bed, Level III Trauma, short-term acute care hospital
  • \n
  • Daily caseload of approximately 15 cases per tech
  • \n
  • 4x9 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • \n
  • 36 hours per week
  • \n
  • On-call required 1–2 nights per week with a 4:30–7:00 AM call shift window
  • \n
  • Every 3rd weekend on-call coverage required (Friday night through Monday morning)
  • \n
  • 30-minute callback requirement when on call
  • \n
  • Charting via Cerner McKesson and Cerner
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • \n
  • State license required if applicable; pending state license accepted but must be active prior to start
  • \n
  • Current BLS required
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment while assisting radiologists in minimally invasive procedures
  • \n
  • Rotates on-call responsibilities with the IR team
  • \n
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • \n
  • No parking cost
  • \n
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • \n
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
  • \n
  • All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
