Mountaineer Maintenance is a growing company seeking a landscaping team member who is a reliable and punctual employee. Our company is a professional lawn maintenance and landscaping company with career opportunities and room for advancement.

Responsibilities for Lawncare Supervisor:

• Abide by company handbook
• Be on time
• Take direction well and work with others, delegate responsibilities and supervise a crew of 4-5 crew members to efficiently complete tasks.
• Adapt to all types of weather conditions
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Be able to carry a backpack blower
• Keep an organized job site and truck
• Clean Work trucks and trailers daily of garbage
• Fuel equipment daily
• Keep shop and yard area organized
• Interacts with clients and vendors in a professional manner

Required Skills

• Lawn maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
• Cleanup services such as spring cleanup, leaf removal, and landscape bed cleanup and prep.
• Experience with other maintenance services such as pruning, weed control, mulching, etc.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers, vehicles and other equipment.
• Operate mowing equipment (Including zero turn and Walk-behind), lawn equipment, larger trucks, and pulling trailers.
• Experience with hauling heavy equipment and tie down procedures.
• Experience and proficiency operating heavy equipment (Skidsteer loader, trackhoe, etc.).
• Experience with timber and block retaining wall construction, hardscape installation, concrete and landscaping installations is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (Clean driving record)
• Pass Background check and drug test (10 Panel)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position supervising a crew.
