RN - Ambulatory/Outpatient Surgery

About the role:

- 13 weeks contract (extension is optional)
- Day and Night shifts available
- Work schedule available: 3x12; 4x10 etc

Responsibilities:
- Ensure OR readiness by maintaining stringent quality standards and safety precautions
- Plan and implement nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, policies, and procedures of the facility and safe nursing practices
- Circulate, scrub, and assist in a variety of cases
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams, and assist in operative procedures

Qualifications:
- At least two years of operating room (scrub and circulate) experience is required
- IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience
- Active New York RN License
- Active Certificate/s like BLS, ACLS etc.
