Equipment Operator II - Full-time

About the Department

Assisting the asphalt and bridge crew with various tasks, while conducting a safe working environment and operating heavy machinery.

Position Duties

Duties will include but are not limited to, general labor in assisting the asphalt and bridge crew, including raking and shoveling asphalt, tree trimming, patching roads, and bridge repair.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, and three months related experience, or combination of education and experience. 
• Applicant must have a valid class B CDL with tanker endorsement, or certification within 90 days of employment. 

Other Qualifications

Starting salary is $17.34 – 20.71 per hour including excellent benefits.
