Current and active license in the State of residence. Good mental and physical condition. Demonstrates leadership qualities, assumes responsibility for total resident care within the nursing units and management of the units. Performs any or all professional nursing duties./span/p

lispan style="font-size:12pt"Make frequent routine nursing rounds./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Make rounds with physicians./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel assigned to resident care./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Reviews CNA work assignments and makes recommendations to ensure timely care is rendered./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Monitors and observes CNA resident care routines to make recommendations and/or coaching to promote conformance to recognized standards./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Monitors employee break times for nursing personnel to ensure sufficient staff are on the floor at all times./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Supervises and helps evaluate licensed and non-licensed personnel. Makes recommendations to the Director of Nursing regarding formal disciplinary measures./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Oversees and assists with meal delivery./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Monitors resident snack delivery./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Monitors residents medical records to determine that records are completed timely and contain required data, i.e., Behavior Summaries, MDS Supportive Documentation, Acute Episode Documentation, following Medicare Documentation Guidelines./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assists in processing of physicians orders./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assists with admissions and discharges./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"May complete monthly Pharmacy Report./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Oversees collection of laboratory specimens./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assure CNA Assignment Sheets and Resident Care Guides are kept current and updated in a timely manner./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assess residents for any change in condition and determine proper nursing intervention./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Assists in teaching residents good health habits./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Participates and sees that resident care plans and nursing care plans are carried out as indicated./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Cooperates with other members of the medical care team and personnel of other departments in providing for residents total needs./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Responsible for adherence by employees to all Company rules and policies and is authorized to administer discipline as appropriate, based upon evaluation of the circumstances surrounding the incident./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Attend staff meetings and in-service education./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Demonstrate competency using current clinical software system./span/li
lispan style="font-size:12pt"Adheres to No Lift Policy./span/li
