In addition, they should be interested in pursing a career in the nutraceutical/dietary supplement industry../p pnbsp;/p pstrongSpecific Job Duties:/strong/p ol liAssist with plant sanitation, includes sweeping, washing, emptying waste containers, including shutdown clean up/li liMeet all safety expectations including wearing the required personnel protective equipment and follow all safe practices/li liWork in a team environment and flow to the work and assist others/li liMaintain good housekeeping with sanitation as a constant and critical issue/li liCross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high speed manufacturing./li liCleans all equipment using current sanitation practices./li liCommunicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company#39;s quot;I Can Make a Differencequot; philosophies./li liPerforms all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor/li liMust be able to follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes./li liWorks within and around the plant to assist in the manufacturing of our products./li liWorks on a production line to assist with manufacturing our products following all production standard procedures (mixing, roller compaction, coating, milling, barrel washing other processing tasks as assigned)./li liComplies with all Safety, GMP, Quality, Plant Policies and other Associate and food safety requirements./li liPrepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production./li liAt the end of the production day all unused materials will be resealed and returned to the designated location in the warehouse following standard procedures and all coding and taping machines will be turned off and cleaned in preparation for the following shift./li liResponsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment./li liOperate industrial power equipment./li liFill in for other positions as needed./li /ol pnbsp;/p pstrongMinimum Qualifications Required:/strong/p ol liSelf-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making/li liPunctual and reliable in work attendance/li liWorking Conditions: Loud environment with exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing atmosphere/li li18 years of age or older/li liAbility to read and write legibly in English/li liAbility to work multiple shifts and/or schedules including weekends./li liBe reliable and dependable in attendance./li liPrevious work experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred./li liAble to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift 50 pounds. Repeated bending, reaching and lifting of equipment or products./li liWilling to learn various work processes./li liHigh attention to details; able to work quickly, accurately./li liBe able to work flexible hours and be willing to adapt to changes in orders and tasks.
