Pull sheets away when broken./liliWorks with other items such as safety knives, banding tools, sledge/liliOperates lift truck; performs lift truck safety check to ensure proper lift operation/liliAssist in rolling up broken paper in hot, humid conditions when broken paper is generated./liliKeeps floor clean around work area./liliLearns other production jobs to fill temporary vacancies of regular workers during vacation, day offs. Etc./liliMay assist with maintenance during felt changes or shutdowns. Assists with felt changes as necessary./liliAdheres to all mill safety policies and completes safety training as scheduled; ensures a safe and healthy workplace./liliAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 50lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs., occasionally./li/ulpbr /br /bEducation and Experience/b/pp/pulliTypically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience./li/ulpbr /br /bQualifications/b/pulliAbility to comprehend, retain and perform procedures from verbal and written instructions./liliMust have basic English speaking, reading skills./liliPrevious experience with operation of Power Industrial vehicle is a plus./liliMust possess basic experience with use of, and knowledge of basic hand tools./liliAbility to solve basic math problems, including the ability to accurately read a measuring tape to the 1/16” increments./liliSound physical condition, ability to tolerate heat and humidity while performing manual labor- and labor-intensive activities./liliValid Class C Driver’s License/liliMust be able to work mandatory rotating shifts bi-monthly, including weekends, overtime and holidays./liliDaily shifts are 12.25 hours per day./lili4 Days on, 4 days off with overtime available on scheduled day offs./li/ulp style="text-align:inherit"/pbr /p style="text-align:left"bCompensation Range:/b/pThe pay range for this position is $ $17.55 - $26.30. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $21.62 to $21.62. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
