The goal is for our clients to engage in all parts of their lives, and the Enhanced Direct Support Professional is responsible for making sure that even though our clients may need someone to help them with eating, cleaning, bathing, or toileting, that they themselves are still taking part in those activities! Even though our clients may have intensive medical, mental health and behavioral needs doesn't mean they cannot live independent lives!br //span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"strongSCHEDULE/strong/span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"Enhanced Direct Support Professionals are hired with specific set schedules, which makes planning the rest of your life around work easier! The people we support need 24/7 care so we have a variety of full-time schedules./span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"The rate of pay for the Enhanced Direct Support Professional position ranges between $23 to $27 per hour dependent upon verifiable, related experience with medical supports. One of the biggest goals is making sure that our clients' medical challenges don't stop them from engaging with their community!/span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"strongJOB REQUIREMENTS/strong/span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"Our Enhanced Direct Support Position requires strongat least six months of verifiable experience working span style="line-height: 107%; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"with any population demonstrating Intensive Medical Conditions and/or co-occurring mental health or behavioral needs/span/strong. Experience beyond six months is reviewed in relation to wage offered./span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar position is a huge benefit!/span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"The Enhanced Direct Support Professional position also requires staff to drive which means we require a valid California Driver License, current auto insurance, and clean amp; reliable vehicle./span/p pspan style="font-size: 12pt;"Aside from the nuts and bolts of the job we are looking for energetic staff who base THEIR success on the success of others.
