Patient Service Rep 3 - General Surgery

div Job Summary: /div div nbsp; /div div The Patient Service Representative 3 (PSR 3) performs a variety of clerical duties necessary to the daily operation of the practice or department. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, support of one or more of the following processes: patient registration, patient check-out, charge entry, referrals, and/or diagnostic precertification. The PSR 3 is often the patient's first and last point of contact during an office visit, and exhibits strong customer service skills that provide patients with a great first and lasting impression of the Harbin Clinic. /div div nbsp; /div div Education: /div div nbsp; /div div nbsp;1. High school diploma or GED /div div nbsp; /div div Experience: /div div nbsp; /div div nbsp;2. Previous experience in the medical field is preferred, but not required. /div div nbsp;3. Basic knowledge of the use and operation of general office equipment (computer, phone, copier, fax). /div div nbsp;4. Working with the public in a courteous and professional manner. /div div nbsp; /div div Skills: /div div nbsp; /div div nbsp;5. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide great customer service under stressful situations. /div div nbsp;6.
