These procedures include but are not limited to red blood cell and volume reduction and cryopreservation of viable cells for transplantation. Additional duties may include thawing tissue for infusions and providing donor and product testing services. Additionally, the technologist may perform routine hematology laboratory duties, including staining slides and CBC and differential counts. /span/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pullispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Processes and cryopreserves hematopoietic progenitor cell (HPC), parathyroid tissue and other cellular therapy products as developed in the laboratory for transplantation.
