Perform a variety of clinical procedures and a variety of administrative duties./ppbr//ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliProvide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients at PRIME on-site events and various PRIME Clinics./liliMaintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating, including sterilization of medical instruments./liliVerifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit./liliPrepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug amp; alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG’s, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary./liliSaves doctors’ time by helping with office procedures./liliAssist in injury care/liliPerform phlebotomy service and give injections./liliSecures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential./liliUpdating and filing medical records according to State and Federal laws./liliMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations./liliKeeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt./liliKeeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance./liliUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications./liliServes and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements./liliEnhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments./liliTake and record messages/liliMust have the ability to take on call on a rotating basis and provide services to surrounding PRIME locations and on-site./liliMay be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays/liliMay be required to work at other PRIME locations./liliMust have dependable transportation/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpbr//ppbr//ppRequirements/ppbr//ppstrongQualifications/Skills:/strong/pulliProfessionalism/liliConfidentiality/liliAbility to stand or sit for extended periods/liliExcellence communication skills/liliMaintaining client and staff confidentiality/liliMust be able to pass a DISA Drug Screen and Background check/liliMust have reliable transportation/liliReliability/liliPatients and compassionnbsp;nbsp;/liliPunctuality/liliStress Management/liliTeamwork/liliWorking independently/liliWorking quickly and accurately/li/ulpbr//ppstrongEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:/strong/pulliMust be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent/liliHigh school diploma or equivalent/lili2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required/li/ulpbr//ppuPhysical Demands:/u Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers, copy machines and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
