Our offerings include before after school programming, seasonal camp, training resources, family community events./p pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Position Summary: /span/p pThe Site Director is responsible for ensuring that the Before After School programs meet all program guidelines. The Site Director must be able to supervise staff and maintain a high level of communication between school administration and area managers. The Site Director must be able to plan and organize a structured program consisting of educational and recreational activities according to the age group. The Site Director will exhibit positive role model qualities in all aspects/p pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Duties and Responsibilities:/span/p ul liProvide excellent service to all students, families, co-workers, and school administration./li liMaintain accurate records pertaining to billing, attendance, staff/child health and safety./li liSupervise and train staff to ensure adequate supervision of children and effective implementation of scheduled activities./li liMeet the physical, emotional and educational needs of the children in their care./li liWork in a team environment, build and maintain healthy, cooperative relationships./li liEnsure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and educational standards./li liServe as the primary point of contact for parents, administration and students./li liModel positive behavior and educate children in a manner which contributes to mature and responsible behavior./li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Qualifications (Please carefully review)/span:/p ul lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Must possess a valid Florida Child Care Directors Credential and have childcare management experience for at least 2 years./span/li lispan style="font-weight: bold;"45 Hours of DCF Child Care Training./spanbr/li lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Candidates with OCPS and DCF clearance are preferred. /span/li liMust be a minimum of 18 years of age./li liSatisfactory Criminal Background Screening./li liSatisfactory Drug Screening./li liHigh School Diploma.br/li liLive locally and have your own reliable means of transportation. /li liFirst Aid Certification/li liCPR Certification/li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Skills:/span/p ul liStrong verbal, listening, and written communication skills in English is required./li liBilingual, with proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus./li liWillingness to learn./li liStrong leadership skills./li liStrong interpersonal skills./li liAbility to communicate at a high level to both children and school administration./li liAbility to problem solve and critically think through daily situations./li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Expectations:/span/p ul liBe accepting of ALL children, parents, and staff without regard to race, creed, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation./li liWear appropriate staff uniform as assigned./li liReport to all scheduled shifts on time./li liAttend all meetings pertinent to this position./li liOversee and participate in the cleaning and maintaining of facilities, equipment, and all areas used./li liBe knowledgeable and adhere to all policies and procedures./li liPerform additional tasks as needed or requested./li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Job Type:/span Part-time/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Compensation:/span $17-$19 per hour depending on experience and credentials. Staffing for camps depends on student enrollment, so not all staff may work during seasonal camp breaks. We conduct a survey at the end of each season to determine who is interested in working seasonal camps. Managers choose top counselors based on their work ethics and reliability, emphasizing factors like attendance and punctuality because camp is a full-day commitment and requires dependable staff. Additionally, we survey employees at the end of the school year to confirm who will return for the next school year. Returning employees are guaranteed a position with a good recommendation from their manager.
