This position is key in ensuring guests have a satisfactory experience by maintaining clean bars and keeping the bar stocked with supplies. The Model Barback helps in marketing the nightclub, restaurant, lounge, pool and other services by offering a targeted guest base while focusing on the development of a personal clientele list. The ideal candidate always works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service./ppstronguPrimary Job Duties/u/strong ndash; Includes, but is not limited to:/pul type="disc"liGreet, interact, entertain and serve guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude./liliAnticipate guest needs and respond to all guest inquiries, requests, directions and information in a courteous and polite manner./liliAssist the Bartender by obtaining food and beverage orders from guests, organizing and prioritizing service per appropriate service sequence. Ensure that all orders are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been met./liliFollow drink recipes when dispensing drinks and garnish beverages as needed per company standards and recipes./liliStock and setup/breakdown bar area daily./liliUp sell guests by suggestively selling menu items, specials and beverages./liliRecognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business./liliMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area during your shift./liliKeep all work areas clean and free of dirty glass, ashtrays, etc. and ensure that all tables and chairs are set correctly. Sweep, mop, wash, and sanitize bar mats, polish, wash glassware as needed./liliRecognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated and alert Manager of disruptive guests. Refuse further service of alcohol to overly intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner./liliComply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws.
