If the role becomes available, you may receive an email or call from a recruiter./pp/ppRequirements:/pulli5 years of experience in TV Engineering with an emphasis on field broadcast work/liliThorough knowledge of field equipment including but not limited to Broadcast and/or Digital video cameras, wireless/hardwire mics and IFB, field lights, supporting equipment and various cable types used in broadcast setups (SDI, HDMI, XLR, etc.)/liliExpert-level knowledge necessary to perform maintenance, installation, and occasional board and/or component level repair of broadcast equipment/liliFamiliarity working with hardware and broadcast systems that are commonly used across the broadcast television industry including Haivision encoding/decoding, Clearcom LQ systems, Pepwave, Freespeak, VisLink and other RF centric hardware and software equipment/liliAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues with broadcast/multimedia systems in our production environments/liliExceptional collaboration and problem-solving skills/liliAble to travel domestically and internationally/liliProcess oriented and able to apply structure to complex problems/liliAbility to work various shifts and weekends Event coverage and location-based production frequently require extended hours, evening or weekend work in a fastpaced 24/7 news environment./li/ulp/ppResponsibilities:/pulliMaintain and operate all remote production ENG equipment:/liliField Control Room Systems o Camera Control Systems o Robotic cameras o Field audio and video/liliIT based audio, video, and communications o Encoder/decoder transmission equipment/liliOperate ENG/SNG Satellite truck/liliAssist in system design, purchasing, vetting, constructing and commissioning new technologies in the field/li/ulp/ppThis role will be covered by the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians –Communication Workers of America - ABC collective bargaining agreement./pp/pp/pThe pay rate for this role in Secaucus, NJ is $63 per hour.
