Together, we can achieve greatness./p pstrongJob Purpose: /strongTo operate forklifts safely and efficiently; handles all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; loading / unloading of RJW truck / trailers and outside carriers safely and using proper procedures; ensures all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; responsible for properly storing stock in the warehouse; performs duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities. Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers. Maintains forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures./p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liAssists Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse./li liAbility to operate sit down forklift and /or EPJs./li liGeneral understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment./li liLoads and unloads RJW truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carriers equipment./li liFlexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights./li liPicking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times./li liEnsures all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly./li liMaintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping./li liProcessing outbound cross-dock freight as necessary./li liOversees storing stock properly in the warehouse and moving product into the storage racks./li liWorks from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers./li liRecords and verifies the accuracy of the shipments against the paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments / deliveries./li liEnsures all documentation and paperwork is properly completed./li liOperates forklifts safely and efficiently following all OSHA regulations, RJW safety policies, and procedures. ul liThis includes wearing of seatbelts at all times when operating the forklift./li /ul /li liCompletes daily forklift maintenance inspections./li liHandles all customer products properly and orderly./li liChecks deliveries for poor packing, general condition of materials, and free of damage.
