Midwest Vascular and Pain Specialists is seeking an energetic full time certified medical assistant/front desk to join our team. We are looking for a minimum of 3 year's experience in the medical field with some procedural skills experience. Looking for an individual with strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, and positive work attitude. Must occasionally travel to other office locations. Polish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Performing vitals, medication reconciliation, and taking brief patient history
• Assisting providers with clinical visits and procedures
• Knowledge of prior authorizations
• Verify Insurance Benefits
• Instructing patient about medications and procedures
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
• Answering phone calls and scheduling patients
• Supporting team members with administrative and clinical duties
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
