Welder

Penmac Staffing in Conway, AR is looking for Welders to join an HVAC manufacturing company in the area! 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

Align components using calipers, rulers and clamp pieces

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Extensive knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG welding, spot welding and operation of a cutting torch.

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Assist in other areas as needed

 Additional Responsibilities:

Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem

Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysis

Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to adapt to a changing environment

 

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

2+ year’s experience in welding

Must be willing to work overtime when required

Must have steel/composite toe work shoes

Must pass welding test
