American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and Epic Stork proficiency.
Details\n- \n
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a Level II Trauma Center, short-term acute care hospital \n
- Patient population includes antepartum and labor & delivery cases with an average daily census of 5 deliveries \n
- Patient ratio of 1:2 \n
- Uses specialized equipment including Triton for QBL (AI technology), Surgicount, and Monica Novii \n
- Charts using Epic, including Epic Stork module \n
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30 \n
- Required to work every other weekend \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- May float within scope of practice to MBU or NICU based on facility needs \n

- Active RN license (VA or Compact) required \n
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Heart Rate \n
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- Epic Stork experience required as this unit does not provide Epic training \n
- Skills in circulating for C-section and fetal monitoring required \n
- Scrub for C-Section and OB Assist experience preferred \n

- Responsibilities include labor and delivery management, fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and antepartum care and procedures \n
- Navy blue scrub color required \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no radius restriction \n
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of confirmation and excessive time off requests are not accommodated \n
- Returning clinicians must have a 1-year separation from the facility before being eligible to return \n
- Up to 8 hours of non-billable pre-start training modules required within 1 week of signing \n
