American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level IV Maternal Designation academic facility with a high-volume, high-risk delivery service requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and a TX or compact RN license.

- Labor & Delivery unit at a Level IV Maternal Designation academic teaching facility \n
- Unit includes 26 LDR suites (with low intervention rooms), 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored antepartum beds \n
- High-risk, fast-paced environment with 500+ deliveries per month \n
- 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage \n
- Perinatal Transport Program in place \n
- Serves both academic teaching and large private OB practice populations \n
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand \n
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP (AAP) \n
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required \n
- ASN from an accredited nursing school/college required \n
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address \n
- Driver's License required for consideration \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n
- \n
- 3–5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume setting is preferred \n
- Preferred certifications: S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Advanced Fetal Monitoring \n
- BSN preferred \n
- BLS and ACLS must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) \n
