Are you a skilled orthopedic surgeon seeking a dynamic locum opportunity in the scenic city of Prescott, Arizona? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to provide vital orthopedic surgical services on a temporary basis. This role offers the flexibility of varied shifts, including clinic and call responsibilities, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to patient care while enjoying the stunning natural surroundings of Prescott.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven expertise in general orthopedic procedures with the ability to handle a caseload of approximately 15 patients per day in the clinic and 6-10 surgical cases.
• Ability to work effectively in both clinic and surgical settings.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system.
• Valid medical license and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working in a locum or temporary role.
• Experience with complex orthopedic cases.
• Bilingual abilities or additional languages.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience in orthopedic practice.
• Previous experience working with support staff (MA/RN) and interdisciplinary teams.

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing with facilities in Prescott; no prior credentialing with additional facilities necessary.
• Ability to start as soon as credentialed, possibly sooner.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekdays and call coverage.
• No travel arrangements required; accommodations provided per facility preferences.

This position offers competitive compensation at $0.00 per hour, with comprehensive coverage of malpractice, orientation, and holiday pay. Key pay details include:

• Orientation: $225 (half the hourly rate after 8 hours)
• Per hour: $450
• Holiday: $675
• Nightly call: $1550
• Holiday nightly call: $2325
• On-call (24 hrs): $3100
• Holiday on-call: $4650
• Call back: $450/hour after gratis hours
• Holiday call back: $675/hour after gratis hours
