**Description** COORDINATOR OF OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Responsibility: + Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities + Serves as the Pilgrim’s Management Method subject matter expert for assigned facilities + Leads assigned facility’sManagement Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Method Pillar + Responsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead projects to closurethrough the use of Operational Excellence tools and methodologies + Delivers effective Management Method training + Demonstrates ownership of core tools + 6S + Writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures + Statistical Process Control + Root Cause Analysis + Kaizen Events + Leads gap-closure projects and owns project success. + Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unit + Leadsself-assessment activities for Management Method. Education: Undergraduate Degree, (Prefer engineering, science, or business focus) Experience: + 2 - 5 years manufacturing industryexperience(preferably in poultry) + At least 1 year in Pilgrim’s + Background in ZBB or production Special Skills + Good oral and written communication skills + Strong Excel user + MiniTabexperience preferred + Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills + Good internal relationshipskills + Resilient & Flexible + Teaching and coaching skills + Hands-onmentality + High level of business acumen + 6 SigmaGreen Beltor higher(desired) + Lean Methodology including Waste reduction experience EOE, including disability/vets
