RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Opening with a varied work schedule
\n• Scheduled at least every other weekend dependent upon unit rotation/need and holidays
\n• Based at NCMC with potential regional float to BFCMC if needed
\n• Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, and NRP
\n• Must be proficient in caring for neonates from 27 weeks and older
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of neonatal patients
\n• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for age-appropriate care
\n• Review patient history and complete assessments according to policy timeframes
\n• Formulate realistic, measurable plans of care in conjunction with patient families
\n• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members
\n• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other personnel
\n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
\n• Participate in unit shared leadership and education activities
\n• Work in typical direct patient care environment requiring physical agility
\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
\n• Current valid RN license in Colorado or compact licensure required
\n• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting within past 12 months required
