We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team through the model of Shared Governance, with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and their families.
- Demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of patient care and professional practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation and effectively utilize computer systems and electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- At least 1 year of Critical Care experience as a Registered Nurse in a Hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid New Jersey Nursing License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- CCRN strongly preferred.
