Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards
\n• Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment
\n• Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT Room
\n• Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition
\n• Adjust patient positioning to acquire optimal images based on anatomical structures
\n• Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles
\n• Process images in PACS for radiologist review
\n• Complete exams per radiologist protocols
\n• Document, charge, and process with electronic medical records
\n• Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor
\n• Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams
\n• Participate in quality control concerning equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
\n• Ensure exams are completed in timely and correct manner
\n• Provide customer service to patients and staff
\n• Rotation of call and weekends required
\n• Required credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
\n• Preferred experience: 1 year as CT and X-Ray technologist
\n• Must demonstrate adequate working knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology
