This job is physically rigorous as it involves repetitive lifting of cases and kegs and the operation of warehouse equipment. In addition, 3rd Shift Order Selectors perform other work assignments as directed by the Outbound Warehouse Manager. nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;/pulliNothing in this job description restricts management#39;s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time./liliAll employees are held accountable for practicing and promoting a safe and healthy work environment./li/ulpstronguEssential Functions:/u/strong/ppstrongnbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; Business/strong/pulliUtilize the voice pick system, retrieve product from the pick area for beverage center and/or route truck for pick-up or delivery/liliVerify the accuracy of each load based on the load sheet and coordinate with the loader to ensure corrections are made as necessary/liliPalletize and shrink wrap product when necessarynbsp;/liliLoad route box and side-load trucks by order or by specific brandnbsp;/liliCheck for damaged product to ensure that product does not get loaded and shipped to the customer/liliFollow all company safety policies and procedures/liliPerform other duties as assigned by the Night Warehouse Manager/li/ulpstrongPeople/strong/pulliSupport Re-stockers, Loaders and Checkers in their respective functions/li/ulpstrongSelf-Organization/strong/pulliPick-up breakage, miscellaneous wood, and plastic from the work area/liliMaintain general housekeeping standards/liliConduct end of shift cleanup procedures/liliProductivity ndash; all selectors must maintain a pick rate of 250+ cases per man-hour./liliQuality (Accuracy amp; Breakage) ndash; all selectors are expected to achieve or exceed the goal of .51 cases/1,000 case equivalents picked./li/ulpstronguRequired Skills:/u/strong/pulliHigh School graduate or general education degree (GED)/lili3 months or more warehouse or related experience/liliStrong interpersonal skills/liliAbility to comply with company safety proceduresnbsp;/liliAbility to safely operate all required equipment (i.e. Forklift, Walkie Rider.)/li/ulpstronguWork Shift Requirements:/u/strong/pulliAbility to work additional hours as needed. nbsp;/liliUse and maintenance of company-issued equipment./liliMust speak to supervisorstrongnbsp;/strongto notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick. nbsp;Voice mail or e-mail messages are not acceptable replacements./li/ulpstronguEnvironment amp; Physical Demands/u/strong/pulliWork safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures/liliFor all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify Safety Officer, supervisor, and Human Resources immediately (no later than 1 hour)/liliAbility to lift 20-40lbs on frequently ndash; workload requires lifting at least 250 cases of 20-40 lbs. each per hour/liliAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 165 lbs./liliAbility to stand or walk for extensive periods during each shift/liliAbility to bend, push, pull, reach, twist and crouch/li/ul/div/div/div/div/div/div/div/div/div
