Typically, the program serves 100 low-income households each year. Additionally, the program offers Energy Education workshops that are open to the entire community./ppbr//ppstrongOverview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/ppThe Weatherization Auditor is responsible for conducting home energy audits, final inspections, and contractor relations within the program service area. The role involves extensive fieldwork, technical training, client education, and documentation, ensuring that projects meet program standards and technical specifications. This position requires strong knowledge in residential construction, weatherization processes, and proficiency in audit tools like REM/Design. Regular travel, both within and outside the service area, is necessary. This role also demands excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently./ppRequirements/ppustrongRequired/strong/u/pulliBachelor’s degree in a related field requirednbsp;/li/ulolliOR in lieu of a degree, four years of relevant experience required/li/olulliCurrent certification in Quality Control Inspection (QCI) required/liliDetailed knowledge of home weatherization process and residential construction standards required/liliExperience with residential construction codes, construction cost estimating and construction project management required/liliPosition requires regular travel in agency vehicle within service areanbsp;/liliOut of area travel will be required for training/educational purposes/liliRequired prior to date of hire and throughout employment:/liliValid driver’s license/liliProof of current auto insurance/liliAccess to reliable transportationnbsp;/liliSatisfactory criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR)/li/ulpustrongPreferred/strong/u/pulliSpanish/English bilingual is preferred/liliLead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor certification preferred/liliDemonstrated REM/Design computerized audit tool skills highly preferred/liliFamiliarity with Federal and State weatherization regulations preferred/li/ul
