Usual hours include: Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm.#xa0;/ppThis position will provide fully prepared current instruction that meets desired learning outcomes, academic advising, and career-related counseling to students, actively engage in retention activities, and support program and institutional initiatives./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliEducate and provide technological and academic training to students/liliEnsure students are aware of the competencies necessary for all objectives in the syllabus/liliDesign and carry out a lesson plan for each class taught that recognizes students’ abilities, learning styles and provide accommodation for individual students differences/liliAlways exhibit World Class Service when working with students as well as coworkers/liliAnalyze outward signs of problems that students may have that inhibit their achievement and take appropriate action/liliRefer students to campus director or student services to overcome those traits that appear to be keeping the student from a high level of achievement/liliIdentify and refer students who are “at risk” of leaving the course to student services/liliProvide ongoing student advisement and academic counseling/liliUse a variety of means of evaluation to support student abilities (cooperative learning, reports, and team work)/liliProvide input and participate in academic committees formed for the purpose of enrichment of both the programs and student life on campus/liliSupport all company initiatives by process and procedure as communicated/liliWork and communicate effectively with all campus departmental staff/liliAdhere to all company policies and procedures/liliComply with all State, Department of Education, and accreditation regulations/li/ulpPay Range: $23-$30/pstrongQualifications:/strongullipstrongEDUCATION:/strong/pulliMinimum of a High School Diploma; advanced education or college degree preferred but will consider candidates with equivalent experience/liliGraduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred#xa0;/liliCertified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, NRCMA) preferred/li/ulpstrongEXPERIENCE/SKILLS:/strong/pulliThree demonstrable (3) years of hands-on clinical experience in the medical assistant role/liliCurrent knowledge of Medical Assistant practice/liliAbility to mentor a highly diverse student population/liliAbility to work independently/liliProficient in Microsoft Office software-Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc. preferred/liliProficient in interpersonal oral presentation; excellent communication skills/li/ul/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongulliMedical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment/lili2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.#xa0; Increasing based on years of service with company/lili12#xa0;paid Holidays and 2#xa0;Floating Holiday/liliCompany Paid Life Insurance at 1x’s your annual salary/liliLeadership development and training for career advancement/liliTuition assistance and Forgiveness for you and your family up to 100% depending on the program/li/ul
