If you answered yes to these questions, we want you on our team!/p pstrongAbout the job/strong/p pThe environmental, health and safety leader is responsible for protecting employees from hazardous workplace conditions. Conducts regular inspections and audits to identify hazardous conditions and implements processes and policies to ensure worker health and safety. Evaluates projects to identify potential risks or hazards and recommends protective actions, equipment, or controls. Takes samples and measurements to evaluate conditions and coordinates the removal of hazardous materials, equipment, or conditions. Trains and educates employees about safety policies, programs, and regulatory requirements to ensure awareness of environmental hazards and workplace safety. Investigates accidents and worker concerns to identify root causes and recommend processes and controls to correct issues and prevent recurrence. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor./p pstrongaEssential Functions/a/strong/p ul liLead the site�s EHS strategy, aligning with corporate policies and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)./li liIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate risks through audits, assessments, and risk reduction initiatives./li liDevelop, implement, and deliver training programs to ensure understanding of EHS practices at all levels./li liMonitor, track, and report on safety incidents, near misses, and environmental metrics. Drive corrective and preventative actions./li liMaintain and update safety data sheets (SDS), chemical inventories, and hazardous waste management processes./li liManage incident response, workers� compensation claims, and return-to-work programs in coordination with HR./li liServe as the primary contact for all regulatory inspections and audits.
