This is a no tipping environment. The Lead Server is responsible for table service within the Dining Rooms. This position must set the standard for all other servers to follow. The Lead Server is responsible for assisting management to ensure the highest standards of customer service are being achieved by the entire wait staff./p ul liAbility to effectively provide excellent service to several tables in any section of the Dining Room./li liResponsible for training new hires and teaching others how to effectively train when necessary./li liWork with management to handle any complaints and find solutions./li liCommunicate and interact with other Kitchen employees including Chefs and Cooks./li liAssist with supervising the wait staff. These duties include: keeping everyone on task, delegating responsibilities, encouraging wait staff when necessary, and bringing problems to the attention of management./li liWork with management to coordinate and execute special functions and large parties. These duties will also require knowledge of event set-up and operations./li liTakes orders and provides service both graciously and courteously./li liLearning Menus and providing detailed information to Residents and Staff regarding ingredients, allergens and item origins./li liHelp meet department standards by working with kitchen staff to ensure the best quality food is served to the Residents./li /ul pstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul liExperience as a Waiter/Server in a hotel, full-service restaurant, country club and/or banquet hall strongly preferred./li liAbility to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests./li liAbility to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers.
