Locates, issues, and maintains all inventory materials./ppbr//ppstrongKey Results/strong strongAreas:/strong/ppComplete shipping and receiving process and procedures in an accurate and timely manner./pulliPull finished product from inventory, assemble orders and prepare for shipment in accordance with pick list/bill of material, company policy and customer requests./liliUnload, receive, verify, stage, and document all incoming expense, project, inventory, and customer supplied materials./liliCount and examine raw materials, supplies, finished product, etc. to verify completeness against appropriate documents; check for damaged materials; maintain records of shortages, damages and other exceptions./liliPackage/crate/palletize, load, and document all outbound shipments./liliMaintain raw material/secondary operation certification logs./liliCoordinate all outbound freight carriers./liliResponsible for inspecting inbound shipments both in quantity and quality to ensure they are complete and in good condition prior to taking delivery./li/ulpManage transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system regarding shipments, receipts, and inventory levels and ensure complete accuracy./pulliPerform cycle counts and other inventory verification as required./liliEnsure packing slips match purchase orders and investigate discrepancies./liliProficient computer skills to navigate companywide computer systems./li/ulpMaintain project material storage locations to create a safe and upkept work environment./pulliLoad, organize, and maintain raw material storage/staging areas and racks./liliMaintain work location in excellent condition to comply with company policies for safety and housekeeping while maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies./li/ulpOperate appropriate equipment in a manner that is safe and compliant with OSHA standards./pulliOperate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jack, electric saws and pneumatic nail/staple guns./liliDrive company vehicle to accommodate local pickups and deliveries./li/ulpInventory management and assembly of physical goods located in multiple warehouse locations./pulliMonitor and validate all inventories by performing cycle counts of all products./liliIdentify and deliver various raw materials for production and perform quality checks according to company policies and procedures./liliVerify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies./liliPick and pull parts and material for assembly./liliReconcile inventory discrepancies./liliEnsure accurate and efficient transfers of parts and costs./li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongQualifications:/strong/ppTo qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required./ppuEducation and Training/u/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./li/ulpuExperience:/u/pulliOne year of shipping/receiving/warehouse experience./liliExperience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office products/li/ulpuOther:/u/pulliValid driver’s license required/liliFork truck certification or ability to obtain one/liliMust be willing to work overtime as required/liliTravel on rare occasions/li/ulpstrongDesired Job Qualification:/strong/pulliExperience with UPS and FedEx systems are desired/li/ulpstrongITAR Requirements:/strongbr/To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at Barber-Nichols must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e., current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157-1158. uSecurity clearance is not required for this position/u./ppTo conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce./ppbr//ppstrongEqual Opportunity Employer:/strong/ppBarber-Nichols is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. This range represent the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate.
