Fire Alarm Installer - Full-time

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"We are seeking a skilled emstrongFire Alarm Installers, Technicians and Foreman/strong/em to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with the equipment, installation, and commissioning of low voltage systems and have at least journeyman level installation and troubleshooting experience. /span/p Responsibilities: ullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Installation of fire life safety and other low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Foreman will layout and provide direction to CSI installers on site as well as coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager to efficiently complete the project on time and on budget. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Technician shall have the ability to program or are experienced with programing low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Responsible for the execution of the installation project plan provided including equipment delivery, trouble shooting, commissioning as well as interface with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer's expectations. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Foreman and Technicians, meet with code officials to arrange for building permits, code issues and to discuss the intended wiring and installation methods being used. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Foreman and Technicians, coordinate the project activities with other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify management of pending changes. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Identify and assist with suggested solutions for an efficient installation to complete scope. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Foreman and Technicians, assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Effectively communicate project status to management. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Industry related BICSI, NICET and/or State Certification is preferred. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Fire Alarm License (FAL) /span/p/li/ul Qualifications: ullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. /span/p/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"strongPhysical Requirements/strong: /span/pullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. /span/p/li/ulullip style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Capable of performing physical labor /spanspan style="font-size: 10pt;"to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to
