h2About the Department/h2pThe part-time Bartender/Server position at River Oaks Golf Course will provide excellent customer service, and presentation of food and beverages in the clubhouse, events center and golf course area.brbrIn addition to their hourly rate, employees will also be eligible for tips./ph2Position Duties/h2pResponsible for opening and/or closing the bar and grill.brResponsible for coordinating the entire food service station and communicating with the front and back of house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.brProcess guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner.brEnsure that patrons are satisfied with the food and the service.brProcess guest checks, accept payment and make change.brAccountable for cash and guest check charges.brAssist with stocking of food and beverage supplies.brAssist with food and beverage preparation.brMaintain knowledge of menu and food preparation practices.brPerform all set-up and cleaning of front of house and bar.brPerform various duties as assigned by management./ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2pMust be at least 18 years of age for service of intoxicating liquor.brExperience in food and beverage service.brOne year of experience bartending/serving.brBasic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.brKnowledge of laws concerning the service and use of intoxicating liquor./ph2Other Qualifications/h2pMust have outstanding customer service skills.brMust be able to understand and execute the safety with service of intoxicating beverages.brMust be able to properly ID customers for service of alcohol and tobacco.brMust possess basic math skills.brMust have the ability to operate cash register and handle money and charges.brMust present a professional image.brMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees and the public./p
