have knowledge and ability to use and maintain kitchen equipment /span/lilispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;" Must be able to communicate effectively in English (bi-lingual, preferred)/span/lilispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;" Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment /span/lilispan style="font-family: 'Times New style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;" /span/pullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Prepare daily meals according to planned menus within state/federal guidelines/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Maintain, clean, and keep kitchen orderly in accordance with Department of Health regulations/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Work and meet regularly with program leaders (re: menu planning, food service, and personnel issues)/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Foster a cooperative atmosphere in the kitchen working with staff, volunteers and guests who will be assisting with preparation and cleanup responsibilities/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Monitor purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies to meet guidelines set for quality and pricing/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Attend staff meetings as requested/span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Ensure all staff (volunteers, other staff, etc.) is properly and accurately trained in the safe use of all equipment, if needed./span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Ensure all equipment is inspected on a weekly basis; ensure the timely repair of all equipment, submit work orders and service calls as necessary; ensure facility repair work is completed in a timely manner./span/li/ulullispan style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Ensure an adequate reserve of program supply.
