AC Hotel Breakfast Server

pDescription/ppThe Restaurant Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. The Restaurant Server will take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables courteously and efficiently. They will collect payments and assist in keeping the area and equipment clean./ppstrongJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/pulliApproach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile./liliHave a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant.nbsp;/liliCheck guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.nbsp;/liliMonitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas./liliQuickly and accurately take guest orders./liliAccommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives./liliEnsure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems./liliAccurately prepare meal checks and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift, cards room credits and vouchers.nbsp;/liliClear clean and reset tables as needed./liliPerform opening and closing procedures./liliPerform any other duties as requested by management./li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongQUALIFICATIONS:/strong/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS./liliEnglish fluency required/liliCertification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS/liliAbility to input and access information in computers./liliMust be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysnbsp;/liliFull- and part-time positions available./liliWilling and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed/liliPossess basic reading, writing and math skills/li/ul
