About The Position
Weekly Pay $2646 - Physical Therapist (PT) at Country Aire Retirement Center, Lewistown, MO Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
- Implement direct therapy interventions (e.g., exercises, gait/balance training, physical modalities).
- Monitor and document residents progress; update care plans as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety for home use.
- Supervise and guide PTAs and therapy aides in accordance with licensure rules.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and billing.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, facility, and documentation standards.
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the rehab team.

Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current state Physical Therapist license.
- Prefer experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.

Work Environment:
- Skilled Nursing Facility/Long-Term Care setting.
- Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and resident assistance.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented rehabilitation environment.
