Asset Integrity Lead (Piping/Welding) - Full-time

Role Asset Integrity Lead for Piping/Welding leads a team that is implementing the mechanical integrity piping program for in-service piping and executing quality assurance and quality control for new construction to ensure piping is installed, maintained, and operated in a safe and reliable manner. This role is responsible for ensuring execution of planning, coordination, and inspection activities to meet applicable code, jurisdictional, and company requirements. Responsibilities Piping Inspection & Quality Management• Provide leadership for team to achieve piping inspections results/expectations safely for Tennessee Operations (TNO) Site• Assist in stewardship of piping quality standards, manuals, and policies• Responsible for team’s execution of piping inspections, test plans, and implementing management systems to ensure compliance with applicable requirements• Participate in asset integrity and piping inspection related audits and addressing findings Team Leadership & Development• Provide ongoing coaching and responsible for training and development of piping inspectors and shop/field weld inspectors• Understand, develop, and leverage group member’s strengths while managing workload and staffing levels• Coordinate with team members to ensure quality and consistency of inspections Strategic & Cross-Functional Management • Develop strategic vision and provide leadership for key department and division initiatives• Interface with other engineering functions and contractor organizations• Manage group controllable expenditures and communicate relevant information to team members Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Effective communication skills • Two years + of experience in mechanical integrity, engineering, or inspection • Familiarity with mechanical integrity inspections, QA/QC, and non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to engineering/inspection in the chemical industry What will make you stand out• Piping/welding inspection experiences • Leadership experience• API 570 certification • CWI certification Please Note: Eastman will not accept applicants for this offered position who require visa sponsorship, including those whose status is F-1 visa OPT who subsequently would require ongoing visa sponsorship .
