Coffee/Beverage Equipment Technician

Beverage Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Beverage Equipment Technician. The hired-candidate(s) will have a set “days-of-week” schedule; however, the dispatch assignments will vary day-to-day to include periodic Over-Time and possible overnight travel.
The Role of Beverage Equipment Technician is to provide Quality Technical Service to Beverage Equipment within an assigned region while providing excellent Customer Service to ALL Internal and External Customers (Service Sites, Vendor Partners, Office Administration, etc.)
The Primary Responsibilities of a Beverage Technician include, but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting and Repair of Commercial Beverage Equipment including Coffee and Tea Brewing Equipment, Commercial Espresso Systems, Coffee Grinding, Water-Filtration Systems (limited scope), Juice Dispensing Equipment, and more.
- Representing the Corporation in front of all Customers and promoting Customer Loyalty while upholding Professionalism through Timely and Quality Performance, Professional Appearance and Attitude, and Diligent Administrative follow-up.
- Maintain and preserve the integrity of Company Assets such as Inventory, Tools, Company Vehicles, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have previous Technical Experience on Beverage Equipment or other transferrable mechanical technical skills; Mastrena I & II, Bunn B/W, and other Certifications Preferred
- Ability to problem solve equipment repair issues striving for quality “first time fix”
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and knowledge base to practical use
- Interpret Drawings, Sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications; Attention to detail and good analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret manuals and digital instructions
- Effective Communication to translate issues remotely with Technical Support Services
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, carry and transport tool kits and parts to/from work vehicle and site; must be able to reach, bend, twist, and squat as necessary to perform duties; must be able to drive/ride as a passenger for extended periods of time. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYEMENT DRUG SCREENING AND BACKGROUND CHECK. Pre-Employment Physical Exam may be requested.
