Neonatology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• August 18, 2025 - ongoing
• Rounding & Call
• No Outpatient clinic

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Level 2 Nursery
• Patients Per Shift: Up to 6
• Rounding on all newborns/NICU
• EMR System: McKesson Paragon
• Support Staff: Hospital staff, Market Director, Manager, and Practice Manager available
• Skills Required: Non-Invasive Ventilation Management, Ventilation Management (Newborn and Pediatric), Intubation, Conscious and Deep Sedation, Central and Arterial Lines, Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Chest Tube Insertion, Needle Pneumothorax Decompression, X-ray and EKG Interpretation, Exchange Transfusion, Suturing Minor Lacerations, Circumcision, Swallow Studies
• Telephone calls and medical record reviews not to be considered on-site call back
• Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
• Average Call: Up to 7 phone consults per 24 hours
• Call Back: 2-4 times per 24-hour shift

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active NC License
• BLS, NRP
• Temporary Privileges available for providers with a clean history
