American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and proficiency with Siemens equipment.

- Outpatient clinic setting in a mobile MRI unit \n
- Performs high-quality MRI examinations across a range of exam types including general MRI, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac MRI \n
- Primary schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (12:30 PM–9:00 PM); 4x10 (10:30 AM–9:00 PM) and 3x12 (8:30 AM–9:00 PM) schedules may also be considered \n
- Saturday shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) are required on a rotating basis; on Saturday weeks, four weekday shifts are worked instead of five, maintaining a 40-hour week \n
- No on-call requirement \n
- May float between two clinic locations \n
- Charting in Epic; experience preferred \n
- Sectra experience preferred \n
- Siemens MRI equipment experience required \n

- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience \n
- BLS (AHA) required \n
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required \n
- State license required if applicable \n
- Experience with general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI required \n
- Siemens MRI equipment experience required \n
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration \n
- Candidate must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis \n
- A personal radiation badge must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers \n

- Performs MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols for physician interpretation \n
- Reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology \n
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position \n
- Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on the unit's scheduling needs \n
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date \n
- Teal top and black pants scrubs required \n
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September \n
