RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Full-time position with 2 positions available
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
\n• Floating to other units required
\n• Epic experience required
\n• Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit)
\n• Temp to perm opportunity available
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
\n• RN License in state of employment or compact required
\n• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
\n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
\n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
\n• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
\n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
\n• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
\n• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
