Integrated Facility Technician

Job Purpose

The Integrated Facility Technician is responsible for helping maintain the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and functionality of FCC Behavioral Health’s facility on Lester Street in Poplar Bluff. This position assists with general maintenance tasks, light repairs, supply restocking, and ensuring the building stays safe, clean, and operational for staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move throughout the facility during the day.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional supply runs or errands.

Core Job Duties

• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs throughout the building, such as fixing or unclogging toilets and sinks, replacing lightbulbs and ceiling tiles, patching small holes in walls, and touching up paint.
• Adjust or repair door handles, hinges, or other minor fixture issues.
• Move furniture or equipment as needed and assist with room setups for meetings or events.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas and pick up needed items locally if requested.
• Conduct walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Keep maintenance closets, supply areas, and shared spaces clean and organized.
• Report larger facility issues or service needs to the Integrated Facility Manager.
• Provide access and assistance to outside vendors or contractors during scheduled service visits.
• Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
• Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
• Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
• Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
