Lead Snowflake ETL Data Engineer

Were looking for a hands-on Lead ETL Data Engineer with expert SQL skills and strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will lead development efforts, collaborate across teams, and drive technical solutionsespecially within Snowflake environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL processes using SQL.
• Lead and mentor the ETL development team.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize queries for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot ETL issues and ensure data integrity.
• Document processes and updates.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives, etc.).
• Work with Scrum Masters to resolve blockers.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes.
• Attend client whiteboard sessions as needed.

Requirements:

• Advanced SQL development experience.
• Proven leadership in technical teams or projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with modern ETL tools and Agile (SAFe or Scrum) practices.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
