Host/Hostess

We’re currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and organized individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a positive first impression.
• Manage the seating chart, seating guests efficiently and according to their preferences.
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations accurately.
• Provide guests with accurate wait times and communicate them effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess stand and dining area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting and clearing tables.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional service.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to all guests in a fast-paced environment
• Guide guests through the menu and offer recommendations for Take Out orders
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of Take Out items
• Maintain knowledge of food, beverage, and allergy information
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for Take Out orders in accordance with company policies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and move around the dining area.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Required qualifications:

• 16 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 20 lbs

Preferred qualifications:

• 0-1 year of total work experience
