Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Greenwood, SC. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, providing valuable speech and language services within a school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or licensure in Pediatrics and School-Based settings
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Ability to work effectively with Communication Facilitators (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultative services to students across grades K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage caseload efficiently, balancing full or part-time hours based on placement needs
