Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for a full semester contract in a K-12 school setting located in Elk Grove, CA. This itinerant role involves providing essential support services across 2-3 school sites each week, ensuring continuous care and assistance to students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language intervention under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Support students across multiple school sites, including elementary and middle school levels.
  • Manage a caseload that includes 4 days at elementary schools and 1 day at a middle school.
  • Document student progress and assist with individualized education program (IEP) goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites efficiently.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
