Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist specializing in early childhood education, serving preschool-aged children (35 years old) in a contract role for the upcoming school year. This role is integral to supporting an Early Learning Center with continuous enrollment, enabling early identification and intervention for children who may need special services.
Responsibilities include conducting developmental screenings, evaluating eligibility for special services, and collaborating with educators and families to develop appropriate support plans. The caseload will involve 60-75 students at the start of the school year, increasing to approximately 125-140 by years end. This position requires professional assessments, report writing, and participation in multidisciplinary teams focused on early childhood development and intervention.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Expertise in early childhood assessment and intervention strategies for preschool children
- Strong understanding of developmental screening tools and eligibility criteria for special education services
- Ability to manage a growing caseload effectively while maintaining high-quality services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, educators, and related service providers
- Experience working in early childhood education settings is highly beneficial

- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 7 hours per day (35 hours/week)
