Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Professional occupational therapist needed for a full-time school position supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role is based in Jacksonville, North Carolina, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across a diverse K-12 caseload.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student participation and success in the school environment.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to promote therapeutic goals.
- Manage caseload organization, documentation, and compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of students at multiple school sites, if assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current occupational therapy licensure in the state of North Carolina is required.
- Experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations as needed.
